Chasin' Tails Guide Service offers professional guided fishing trips in Gold Beach, Oregon, led by veteran captain Josh Terry. Bringing more than 20 years of regional guiding expertise, Josh specializes in family-friendly fishing charters for anglers of all skill levels across Southern Oregon and Northern California’s top waterways. While the famous Rogue River serves as a prime spring and summer destination, winter river trips follow seasonal runs to premier fisheries including the Chetco, Elk, Sixes, Smith, and Umpqua rivers. Whether booking your first guided river fishing trip, a family outing, or a day on the water with friends, every excursion is customized to current conditions to deliver a safe, comfortable, and successful fishing experience.

Operating high-end 23-foot Willie Predator power boats and 17-foot Willie drift boats with commercial permits for the Rogue River-Siskiyou and Six Rivers National Forests, Captain Josh provides access to exclusive water that few regional guides can reach. All trips include top-tier custom rods, Shimano reels, terminal tackle, and complimentary fish cleaning to prepare your catch for the cooler. As a US Coast Guard Licensed Master and registered Oregon Fishing Guide, Josh combines local knowledge with top-tier safety to ensure every group enjoys a memorable day targeting Oregon salmon and steelhead.
